Nelson Catarino was born in Portugal in 1974 and from an early age was inspired by fashion and beauty.
After finishing school, he enrolled on a three-year Hair and Beauty Makeup course in Portugal and also worked at the prestgious salon called, Isabel Queiroz do Vale, while studying.
In 1998 he moved to London to pursue a career as a makeup artist & hair stylist. He landed a job as a senior hair stylist for Toni & Guy and assisted in some their high-profile shows which included a Christian Dior fashion show. He also completed a makeup course at the London College of Fashion.
Nelson currently works for MAC Cosmetics as a makeup artist and is based in London.
